I was impressed by the value for money at this hotel. During my stay, I paid for a dorm bed but was pleasantly surprised when they upgraded me to a private room at no extra charge. This was a fantastic deal, especially considering the prices of other hotels in the area. Additionally, the staff were friendly and professional, despite their limited English proficiency. They made every effort to assist guests and ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and close enough to the touristy areas without being overcrowded. The rooms were equipped with comfortable beds and basic amenities, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. I also appreciated the attention to detail, such as the free bottles of water provided daily and the complimentary laundry service, making my experience even more enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at Spring Field Hostel in Dali. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the ancient city and close to attractions like the Three Pagodas. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The owner, Hot, was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make us feel at home. The neighborhood was vibrant with plenty of restaurants to explore. we highly recommend this hostel for a great stay in Dali.

There was no air conditioning or heating system. The rooms were a bit chilly and it got difficult during the nights.

It's also close enough to the old town area, without being amidst the crazy crowds. the room was clean with a comfortable bed, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. the staff were friendly, although their grasp of the English language was limited. Breakfast provided by the hostel was tasty, but the options were limited.
